Y2K obsessed? Wait until you meet Y3K. We’re strobing into the future this month with holographic flashes of cool-toned purples and blues. Sparked by UV light and the 2025 colour of the year: Future Dusk, the Ultra Violet trend features hues that straddle the line between a deep blue and rich purple.

With cool tones front and centre this season, the Ultra Violet trend has stolen the spotlight. “Everything was gold and warm - and now, everything's going very cool,” says Alexandra French, Makeup Artist.

We’ve seen shades of cool-toned purples and blues on the It girls of the moment.
